How to find our Bed and Breakfast? Via public transport: From the railway station, take bus number 3 (St-Pieters) or 13 (AZ St.-Jan) for 6 stops (bus-stop "HOWEST / Normaalschool" in the street called Vlamingdam) [from the railway station and the main square there are busses every 10 mins] Beware: stops are on demand only (so it might be that the bus only stops twice before it reaches us! Please ask the driver !) After that, take the first street on the left (Klaverstraat), and then (almost immediately) the first street on the right (Elf Julistraat). From the railway station, you can also take a taxe (12-14 Euro). By car: Coming from Brussels (E40), take exit 8 (E403 direction Brugge/Zeebrugge, Kortrijk, Roeselare). Continue on the E403 direction Brugge/Zeebrugge for about 2.5 km (1.5 miles) until the end of the highway. Approx. 200m after the first traffic lights, turn right on the N397 direction Centre and St.-Michiels. Continue the N397 / Koning Albert I Laan for about 2 km (1.25 miles) direction Centre ('Centrum'). At the second traffic lights, continue right underneath the railway bridge - always direction Centre. At the roundabout (UNESCO Square) take the exit direction Centre (basically the exit at 3 o'clock). Continue straight into the tunnel (no longer direction Centre but 'All Directions'). At the next traffic lights, follow the road to the right (R30, inner ring road direction Knokke) for about 1 km. The Elf Julistraat is the 3rd street on the right after the second set of traffic lights on the ring (so after the Ostend Gate / Ezelpoort). |
